PlayStation has announced a surprise State of Play broadcast for tomorrow, with a special emphasis on “games created in Japan and across Asia.” The new State of Play will run for approximately 40 minutes, but the official announcement does offer clues as to what kind of content viewers can expect to see. Thankfully, PlayStation has also revealed the times for when the broadcast will air, based on your region.
The new State of Play will take place on November 11, 2025. As announced via PlayStation Blog, it will arrive on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel, with Japanese audio and English subtitles. The broadcast will be hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, and will include “great games, interviews, and new looks at anticipated titles.” Again, these will focus on games created in Japan and Asia.

Games, Interviews, & More
At the time of this writing, no games have been confirmed. However, since the emphasis is on games from Japanese and Asian studios, this offers a clue as to which studios may have games present. Both Square Enix and Capcom are based in Asia and have long histories of releasing exclusives, or at least timed exclusives, with PlayStation, so it’s reasonable to assume we’ll see titles from those studios during November’s broadcast.
Both studios have highly-anticipated games in the pipelline thanks to Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem and Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, which has so far not been given an official title. Other studios, like Level-5 and FromSoftware, have PlayStation games in the works that could be shown off as well. These are only predictions based on what information we know so far, however, so take them with a grain of salt.
What has been confirmed is that the presentation will last “around 40 minutes” and show off “great games, interviews, and new looks at anticipated titles.” That may not be much information to go on, but with the new State Of Play still being over 24 hours away at the time of this writing, there’s plenty of time for confirmations to come in ahead of PlayStation‘s broadcast.
