A viral video on social media captured some community members interrogating the suspect, who admitted to the crime during the confrontation. The Secretary of the Orozo Community, Abwami Nuhuson Daniel, confirmed the incident in a post shared on Facebook. He recounted his disbelief upon witnessing the events. Daniel, while speaking on the incident, said, “I got the shock of my life as we apprehended a ‘Yahoo’ ritualist with a human head (his girlfriend) inside a nylon bag in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, FCT.” He further revealed that the suspect confessed that the rest of the victim’s body was in his house. Daniel added, “I thought I just used to watch things like this until I experienced one live today in my community. “And this guy said the remaining body of the girl is still in his house. May God have mercy on this generation.”
A middle-aged man, identified simply as Adaju, has been arrested in Agwan Sarki, Orozo—a border area between Nasarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)—for allegedly killing his girlfriend for ritual purposes.
