Bessem Okafor, the wife of Nigerian clergyman Pastor Chris Okafor, has stirred reactions with her support for her husband following his apology to actress Doris Ogala and others.
Kemi Filani on Sunday that during his Church service, he admitted that he had made mistakes in the past and apologised to the actress for them. The clergyman surprised his members as he knelt to apologise to the church.
In a video captured online, the new Mrs was seen giving her husband a loving hug after his emotional apology.

Reacting to his apology, Doris said she has forgiven him, but there is a problem with his denial of their affair.
When the news of his wedding circulated online, Ogala, had publicly accused the pastor of breaking promises to marry her after a long-term relationship that dated back to 2017. She alleged that Okafor not only abandoned her but also shared explicit videos of her without consent. She claimed that her mental state had been fragile since the relationship ended, compounded by the death of her younger brother. She also alleged financial exploitation, stating that she funded projects for Okafor and his associates without repayment.
Amidst threats from the actress, the couple had gone ahead with their wedding.
Not done, Ogala had made a wild claim against him, alleging that he gave her $10000 to retract her statements. She demanded the clergyman compensate her with $50,00, put her on the monthly payroll, and give her lifetime shares in his company as compensation for not marrying her and for sharing her núde videos with friends and lawyers.
Recall that last year, Doris had called out clergyman, pastor Chris Okorie, demanding he refund her money. Advising anyone who knows him to inform him about her statement, she noted how many of these pastors love to use people, as she made him realize that he had used the wrong person.
In another post, Doris demanded claimed that he stole her money, and accused him of blackmail and threats. She added that he was using his status as a clergyman to intimidate her.
Still on it, Doris, while sharing her near-death experience, revealed that she slept with him, and promised to tell her story and pregnancy. She avowed that most pastors are not what they seem to be.
