WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Troops of Operation Lafiyan Jamaa of 6 Brigade, Nigerian Army Sector 3 Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS), have killed a suspected bandit in a military operation aimed at restoring peace to the Karim-Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State. The operation followed the recent killing of 57 villagers in Munga Community in Karim-Lamido. The troops, on Monday, May 26, 2025, neutralised the bandit and recovered arms and motorcycles from the operation. The Army’s Assistant Director of Public Relations, Captain Olubodunde Oni, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, saying that during a fighting patrol in Kwanchi Village, troops made contact with armed bandits and immediately engaged them in a hot pursuit.
