WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Tekashi 6ix9ine was found guilty of possession of drugs and weapon possession during a recent raid, but the rapper is claiming innocence, claiming he was “framed” by a close friend. The Assistant United States Attorney allegedly revealed that they were alerted to the illicit items in the rapper’s residence by a confidential source. During the raid, they discovered MMDA, a bag with cocaine residue, and a Glock handgun hidden inside his pool house. Although 6ix9ine was not arrested at the time, he was detained for several hours, during which authorities collected DNA samples. As a result of the raid, a federal judge has now banned him from possessing firearms or ammunition at his residence.

TMZ reports the rapper told them “he believes the confidential informant in question could be a former friend who planted the drugs and gun.” His next court appearance is scheduled for May 22, 2025, when the judge will decide whether he should serve additional time in jail for his violations.
In October 2024, 6ix9ine was arrested for unauthorized travel to Las Vegas, failing drug tests, and lying to his probation officer. He pleaded guilty to five violations and served 45 days in jail.
His attorney, Lance Lazzaro, also told the publication that “he’s confident they will be able to resolve the situation in a very favorable manner.”
