Tekashi 6ix9ine is continuing to troll his opp, Lil Tjay, this time about the time he almost lost his life after he was shot at a Chipotle restaurant back in 2022.
The rappers were going back and forth online and in the DMs before and after the shooting.
“He wrote me. I guess he was trying to beef with the Kai Cenat kid,” he says in the below clip. “I’m like, I’m not gonna get into the beef. So, I just basically kept going along with him, you know what I mean? Just to make him look foolish.”
Tjay then called 6ix9ine “a funny rat n—a. So, I’m like, ‘You a funny shot-up n—a,” he laughed. “You know, because he almost lost his life for a burrito.”
Rapper Lil Tjay was critically injured in an attempted armed robbery that turned violent early Wednesday in Edgewater, New Jersey, officials said. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office reported that shots were fired outside a Chipotle located in a mixed residential and shopping area.
Police arrived to find 21-year-old Tione Jayden Merritt, known professionally as Lil Tjay, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Another man, 22-year-old Antoine Boyd, was later found about a mile away at a nearby gas station with a single gunshot wound.
Investigators alleged 27-year-old Mohamed Konate, from New York, tried to rob Lil Tjay and two companions, Boyd and 24-year-old Jeffrey Valdez of the Bronx, when the confrontation escalated into gunfire.
