Taylor will be walking away with four homes worth over $10 million, including several luxury items, such as a $300,000 Maybach, a $70,000 Mercedes Sprinter, and a fully equipped tour bus. The singer will also retain complete control of her businesses and receive a seven-figure lump sum payment from Shumpert and $8,000 per month in child support and private school tuition for their daughters, Junie and Rue Rose. Shumpert and Taylor began dating in 2013, and in 2016, they secretly tied the knot in their home bathroom… the same bathroom they delivered Junie. Rue Rose was born in 2020. Taylor filed for divorce in January 2023, and in court documents, she alleged that Shumpert had been “treating her cruelly and displaying extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.” Shumpert then requested that the court to change the reason for filing from “cruel treatment” to “irretrievable broken bond,” as “cruel treatment” implies the “willful, persistent infliction of unnecessary suffering,” either mentally or physically, “to such an extent as to render cohabitation dangerous and unendurable.” Earlier this month, Taylor went public with her romance with “Mufasa” star, British actor, Aaron Pierre.
