Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has expressed gratitude to her Maker for seeing her through her tough times.

Taking to her Instagram page to share new photos, the movie star who has been marinating a low profile for years now, appreciated her Maker for not making her look like what she has been through.

Refreshing your memory, in 2022, Halima became bedridden following her altercation with Apostle Johnson Suleman. Her family also took to social media to call out the clergyman to stay away from her.

However, many alleged that the actress was battling an autoimmune disease. Debunking the claims, Halima shared her medical report which was shoved aside as many claimed that the report doesn’t prove anything.

In November of 2023, Halima Abubakar made her first public appearance as she stepped out in style in Kogi State for the Governorship election.

Sharing photos and clips online, she expressed how honored she was to be back in her State as she noted how it was her first outing in 2 years. Expressing gratitude to her creator, she thanked Him for showing up for her.

This year, Halima is making a fresh start as she announced her return to Nollywood, leaving her fans excited to see her back on screen.

Amid her return to Nollywood, Halima is currently facing an order from the High Court to pay Apostle Johnson Suleman N10m as damages. The court had also restrained the movie star from further publishing defamatory statements against him and is to retract her statement against the clergyman on her Instagram page.

The clergyman had filed a suit against her, demanding N1 billion as damages after she defamed him as she opened up her intimate affair with him
