Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, has shared throwback photos on the internet.
The movie star, who had a great 2025 with his record-breaking movie Koleoso, shared amazing throwback photos of himself with his colleagues on his Instagram page.
The likes of Mo Bimpe, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Foluke Daramola, Ibrahim Chatta, Jaiye Kuti, Bukunmi Oluwashina, Kemity, Jumoke Odetola, Olayinka Solomon, Rotimi Salami and many others were featured.
In his caption, Itele noted how he had gone from being unseen to being undeniable. He stated that he had the same dream but a bigger vision.
The award-winning actor noted that he didn’t start hustling, thanking God that they don’t look like what they’ve been through.

Just a few days back, Ibrahim had celebrated as his movie made the list of Nigeria’s 2025 most searched series. Itele noted how the record is loud and the growth is real. He expressed gratitude for the journey, organic growth, real audience, and impact.
A week back, Itele was ranked among the Top 10 YouTube creators in Nigeria. He expressed gratitude for the love, support, and the journey so far. He appreciated his Koleoso family for believing in him, standing strong and for pushing the vision.
In an interview earlier this year, Itele opened up on his pre-fame struggles, revealing he faced challenges that almost took his life. He recounted how he sold jewellery at Bauchi village and credited one Papa T and Femi Adebayo for helping him out.
Itele has undoubtedly come a long way in Nollywood.
Last year, he made headlines for his phenomenal role on Jagun Jagun, which got him praise from netizens. Reacting to the positive response from his critics, he pledged to continue to please his fans, stating he was grateful for the accolades.
In 2023, Itele revealed his plans to join Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola at the box office. He recounted working with Funke and Femi, and how it challenged him in a highly different manner.
That same year, he had bagged a double award, beating his senior colleagues, Afeez Owo, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Segun Ogungbe, and others as the Best Actor of the Year and Best Director of the Year.
The actor had also gotten another recognition for his hard work, as he received a leadership award for his contributions to entertainment. The award was also a reflection of his character in society and mentorship to the youth.
