“Thank you for changing my life in so many ways” – Sharon Ooja appreciates husband as they celebrate one-year Civil wedding anniversary

Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja and her husband, Ugo, are celebrating their first Civil wedding anniversary.

Taking to her Instagram page, Sharon shared a video of her and her husband from their civil wedding as she noted how it’s been over a year of God’s mercies and kindness. She declared that day as a day she will never forget as she appreciated her Maker for being so kind and merciful to them.

Sharon appreciated her husband for changing her life in so many ways beyond words, for being such an open and honest person, and for loving her with a love so genuine. Calling him her partner in many things, she prayed that God would keep protecting them.

“Happy wedding anniversary to us. Civil wedding). It’s been over a year of God’s mercies and kindness to us; these videos are from our civil wedding ceremony, a day I’ll never forget. All I can say is thank you, Jesus, for everything, for being so kind and merciful to us. For you are truly the giver of all things good and perfect. Thank you, my Igbo king, for changing my life in so many ways beyond words, for being such an open and honest person, and for loving me with a love so genuine. My partner in all things, with the God of the angel armies on our side, directing and protecting us till infinity, baby”.

Kemi Filani reported in March 2024 that Sharon announced that she had gotten married in a civil wedding to her lover with an adorable video.

3 months after her Civil wedding, Sharon got traditionally married in Abuja in June in the presence of family, friends and colleagues. A day after, she and her husband held a lavish white wedding, which was the talk of the town for days over their wedding cake and event decoration.

Sharon’s wedding was embroidered with scandal as a day to her white wedding, a blogger claimed that Sharon was her husband’s fourth wife, and that he had three kids from his previous marriage. Netizens had dug into it and had brought up evidence of Sharon Ooja’s husband’s former marriage, alongside the evidence of his divorce in 2019.

Amid the claims, Sharon took to her Instagram page to gush over her husband, describing him as her dream man and a gift from God. She had also said a word of prayer for her marriage.

In another post, she had issued out a statement to her daily critics over her new marriage. She stated that she was an unrepentant and unapologetic child of God and child of light. She added that she is a Jesus baby to the core.
