“The allegations against him are disturbing and should be investigated” – Actress Georgina Onuoha says as she calls for Ned Nwoko to step down from his official position

The allegations against him by his ex wife are deeply disturbing Georgina Onuoha speaks on Ned Nwoko

Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has called for Senator Ned Nwoko to step down from his official position.

On her Instagram page, she said that the allegations against him are grave and deeply disturbing. According to her, it isn’t family disputes, but criminal allegations that must be investigated transparently and without bias.

She called for the senator to step down immediately from his official position to allow for an independent and impartial investigation.

“Regina Daniels @regina.daniels. You have said enough, child.
Now, get a lawyer and plead your case. The Senator has the right to defend himself equally, as he has made serious accusations against his young wife.
What we are witnessing is yet another symptom of a failed system where power shields wrongdoing and justice is selectively applied.

The allegations against Senator Ned Nwoko by his estranged wife, Regina, are grave and deeply disturbing. They include claims of pedophilia ( getting involved with a minor sexually), grooming of a minor, sexual coercion, forced rape, forced imprisonment, and drug enabling. These are not family disputes. They are criminal allegations that must be investigated transparently and without bias.

Senator Nwoko must step down immediately from his official position to allow for an independent and impartial investigation. The Nigerian Police Force (@nigeriapoliceforce, the Ministry of Justice, and human rights organisations, both local and international, must urgently intervene.

Justice must not be for sale. Power must not be used as a weapon of oppression. The Nigerian government and its institutions are on trial before the eyes of the world.

Justice must prevail.

The victim deserves protection, not persecution. The truth must prevail”.

Anita Joseph had slammed Ned Nwoko for bullying Regina Daniels’ family, questioning whether he left room for reconciliation. Calling for the release of Sammy, she stated that marriage isn’t by force, and the actress is allowed to leave.

FFK’s ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu, questioned where the Actors Guild and those whom Regina has helped were. She noted how Daniels is too young for this experience, and questioned Ned for torturing a person whom one promised to love and protect. She described Ned’s action as narcissīstic and vicious.

Mary Njoku had written a note to Regina, saying that seeing her cry for help on social media had broken her heart. Mary noted how she and thousands of Nigerians watched her grow into the woman she was today, and she is appalled by the comments online.

Ruth Kadiri, in an Instagram post, noted that Regina celebrated and supported everyone as much as she could. Ruth stated that Regina will forever be celebrated.

Yvonne Jegede said if domestic violence is violence, she should leave. The actress admonished her not to allow bitter and jobless internet trolls to bully her, as there is no excuse for domestic violence.
