Nigerian comedian turned clergyman Woli Arole has corrected a misogynistic mindset about women not having a voice in marriage.
In an Instagram post, Arole said the ideology that women can’t talk or have opinions in marriage is wrong. He told men that submission doesn’t mean dumbness, noting that one’s wife is his helpmate.
Woli added that, at times, the home’s salvation will be in the wife’s mouth.
“The ideology that women cannot talk or have opinions in marriage is wrong
Men, submission doesn’t mean dumbness; your wife is your help.
At times, the salvation of the home will be in her mouth”.
To mark the year, Woli released a prophecy, stating that the year wouldn’t be a good year for girls who carry sugar daddies and that side chicks would be disgraced. He added that men who love young girls and neglect their wives would live in regret, as he admonished everyone to repent.
Last year, the former comedian had cautioned ladies over the increase in ritual killings. He told them that the devil was on a rampage against young ladies’ destinies as he admonished them to stop fornicating around, carrying sugar daddies, and dating fraudsters. He emphasized that their destiny is more than sex and money.
