Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has shattered the box office records with his cinema debut, Reel Love, which premiered a few days ago.

Timini Egbuson celebrated his win on his Instagram page by announcing that his project grossed over ninety-nine million naira at the box office.

His film broke the record of the Highest Opening Weekend for a first-timer, the 4th Highest Grossing Opening Weekend of all Time, and Nollywood’s Strongest Opening for Valentine, among others.

Sharing his achievements online, Timini Egbuson appreciated his fans’ unwavering support, which helped him shatter those records.

He appreciated those who believed and supported his dream. He also acknowledged everyone who dropped out to watch his film.

Recall that the actor bragged online about his achievement of becoming the highest grossing actor in Africa.

The actor bagged this new title with different movies he appeared in 2023, which included Funke Akindele’s record-smashing movie, A Tribe Called Judah, and others such as The Kujus Again, Big Love, Honey Money, Something Like Gold, The Bloom Boy, to mention but a few of them.

Celebrating his award, Egbuson said that hard work, support, and God’s grace brought him to such an esteemed level. He felt super grateful for the life he had been given.
