Taking to her Instagram page, she stated that she walks her own path unapologetically and with unwavering focus. She revealed that she stays in her lane, not out of fear but out of fierce dedication to her own journey. The mother of one made it known that she doesn’t allow the noise, hype and opinions to move her. She stated that people can call it anything they want, but she sees it as growth forged through struggle. She added that while others chase validation, she builds a life anchored in purpose and resilience. “I walk my own path, unapologetically and with unwavering focus. Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that Wumi had called out Chef T of Dairy of a Kitchen Lover for ignoring her DM while promoting her movie, Queen Lateefah, last year. Wumi stated that she feels the chef doesn’t need anyone again and can grow independently. Not done, the movie star, stated that opportunists always end up doing the most. The Yoruba actress revealed that she hasn’t seen a reply from Chef T until now. Food critic Opeyemi Famakin had weighed into the beef, reprimanding Wumi Toriola as he defended the celebrity chef, which didn’t sit well with Wumi. Reacting to it, Toriola poked fun at his career, stating that she only responded to him because of his desperate need for attention and relevance. She urged him to take a moment to reflect, establish a long-term career, or build a successful business before he approached her. Last year, a fan of Wumi had reprimanded her for throwing shots at some of her colleagues who love to pretend they are decent. The fan advised her to leave others and stop creating enemies for herself and Wumi replied, telling him to shut up as she questioned if someone didn’t give birth to those actresses who are tagged indecent because of the facade they have created. The talented scrip interpreter, in another post, threw shade at some of her colleagues for rubbishing her efforts. She revealed that someone called her a YouTube star, and her stubbornness made her take it with so much pride. Wumi noted how some of her colleagues are yet to conquer YouTube and are still floating in the box office world.
