Nigerian media mogùl Mo Abudu is celebrating Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham and Ini Edo over their massive pull at the cinema.

While promoting his Cinema movie, Ayo Makun cried out over the lack of support from his colleagues. Makun lamented how men only support entities who have breasts and bottoms, despite the other gender working hard to stay relevant and uphold their responsibilities. He bragged about being the only man left in filmmaking who has not given up and vows to continue pushing his movie personally.
His post was, however, misinterpreted to be a dig at his female colleagues who were breaking records at the box office.
Setting the record straight in another post, AY made it clear that his post had nothing to do with them as they have all supported and encouraged him. He stated that his post was aimed at men who are fond of supporting women over their gender.
In 2023, an alleged report made rounds of how Funke pressured media mogul, Mo Abudu to decast Toyin Abraham from Chief Daddy’s movie and replace her with Kate Henshaw, which Mo succumbed to. The blogger further claimed that Funke did the same with Beverly Osu but for the intervention of Joke Silva, Beverly was saved.
