The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche, has denounced the horrific killings of innocent individuals in Benue State.
The renowned cleric proclaimed that the moment has arrived when necessary actions must be taken at all costs to ensure that these agents of evil are sent back to their origins.
Naijaonpoint reports that Pastor Enenche was reacting to the recent slaughter of over 200 people in the Yelwata community during a recent service at his church.
The clergyman asserted that the ongoing series of such attacks indicated a profound issue within the nation.
He shared his thoughts on Monday night during the Commanding The Day Midnight Prayers.
Referring to the event as one of the “most devastating massacres in our recent history”, Pastor Enenche emphasised that the offenders were “non-human” and lacked any sense of morality.
Enenche said, “There is a climate of gloom in our land today. There is too much blood flow in the land. It is an atmosphere of doom and darkness.
“It is clear that we have non-human persons in our land. They may look like persons but literally not human. They are almost one and the same with the devil.
“We were holding a crusade, European Fire Conference in the Czech Republic, when we heard that some agents of death, wicked citizens from hell, went to the peaceful community, Yelwata in Benue State to unleash mayhem in what can be described as one of the worst massacres in our recent history.
“They are non-human because human persons have feelings, and if they don’t have feelings for anybody, they have feelings for children. They killed and set some people on fire alive.”
Pastor Enenche extended the condolences of the church to the Yelwata community, the entire state, and “everyone in this nation whose heart beats with the pains and burden of this evil in our land.”
He said, “As a nation, something is wrong somewhere, something is failing. There is massive failure from the government and citizens at all levels.
“The question is, will the government be watching until everybody is cleared, will the national and state assemblies just sit down and do business as usual?
“Will the military watch, or is it that the military lacks capacity? We have one of the best military forces in the world that has intervened in Liberia and several other places around the world.
“Are the citizens going to watch and wait until they come and roast you like a goat? The time has come when things that need to be done must be done at all costs for these agents of hell to return to wherever they came from.
“A time may come when some big men may have no village to go to.”
