Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of three revealed that she has been given an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the American University of Peace and Governance, USA. She revealed that the ceremony is scheduled to take place today, November 30th at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). Laide expressed gratitude to one Dr Jonathan Ojadah for the nomination as she expressed how honored she is to be a recipient. “It is with great pleasure that I acknowledge this remarkable Honor to be bestowed on me by the American University of Peace and Governance (AUPG), USA www.aupgedu.us for an Honorary Doctorate during the DOCTORAL FELLOW INVESTITURE Ceremony scheduled to take place at the University Of Lagos (UNILAG) on the 30th Of November, 2024. It has been a winning year for Laide as in February, Laide bagged an appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism. Speaking out, Laide announced that it was a new dawn for her as the appointment had kick-started her journey into politics. Calling herself honourable, she appreciated the Governor for trusting her and allowing her to serve as she pledged to the people of Osun State. Laide would add to the list of celebrities with Honorary Doctorate Degrees. In April, Nkechi Blessing had bagged a doctorate degree in Real Estate management. The actress shared a video of herself on her Instagram page and announced that she would now be addressed as a Doctor while issuing a stern warning to the public. Actress, Biola Bayo was left overwhelmed as she bagged a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian leadership and business from Georgia University. Sharing the good news on her Instagram page, she reintroduced herself as Dr Abiola Adebayo Akinrinde. Actor Lateef Adedimeji was honored with a Doctor of Philosophy in Arts and Culture from Estam University to celebrate his exceptional talent and tremendous achievement in the movie industry. Lateef revealed that he was moved to tears as he had never been interested in fame, and only wanted to be happy in his craft and the lives that he. To top it off, actor, Gabriel Afolayan had bagged a doctorate degree from the same university as Lateef.
