Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez is ending the Year on a high note as his mother figure and senior colleague, Opeyemi Aiyeola, finally forgives him.
Kemi Filani reported earlier this month, Jamiu had tendered a public apology to Opeyemi for his misdeeds. Azeez noted that he couldn’t write his story without her name boldly written on it, and he acknowledged how he had hurt her deeply, causing a cut that was so deep.
The actor shared the good news on his Instagram page, describing it as his best gift of 2025.
He appreciated his friends and colleagues for pleading on his behalf and specially thanked his industry fathers and møthers who reached out to plead on his behalf.
Jamiu appreciated Opeyemi for forgiving him and also giving him another chance. He described her as his sister, mother, boss, mentor, number one fan, cheerleader and favourite of all time.
Raining prayers on her, he stated that he had learned his lessons the hard way.
