In this outstanding piece of fanart by sojak, Wolverine finally gets extends his claws to full length, and step up to trade fatal strikes with none other than Cain Marko, the Juggernaut himself. At least that’s the idea, with this head-to-head exchange seeing Juggernaut take the only fatal injury in spectacular, bloody fashion.
The fanart does what the best comic art can do, capturing an entire fight’s worth of drama and impact in a single frame: Wolverine eviscerating the unstoppable titan, without it actually being seen by the viewer. And if this moment isn’t adapted directly into Wolverine’s next movie appearance, Marvel will have made a grave mistake.
For starters, this snapshot of a brutal fight is not only unreal in its ‘badass’ factor, but is completely feasible for the MCU to make a reality. With a new Juggernaut already introduced in Deadpool 2, it makes perfect sense for the duo to collide.
And best of all, the gruesome kill is ambiguous enough to avoid an R-Rating. Allowing this samurai-like final strike to actually fit alongside Disney’s Avengers.

Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars Are Expected To Kill Off Icons
In the wake of the blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine, there’s no question the world is still in love with Hugh Jackman’s lovable brawler. So even if the Russo Brothers haven’t confirmed Wolverine is in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars, there are only reasons in favor or calling on Logan for a memorable fight sequence or two.
But with so many rumored versions of MCU Avengers, X-Men, and more being pulled into the fight, there’s no way they are all going to survive the battle. That fact alone puts every existing star of the Fox X-Men films on the chopping block, favoring those with the size, strength, or power set to deliver an unforgettable death scene. And both Juggernaut and Wolverine fit that bill.
As well known as the character may be, Juggernaut is one character who could be killed off without impacting the X-Men’s future (even being recast for the MCU, along with his half-brother Charles Xavier). And after Juggernaut appeared as one of the forgotten characters banished to the TVA’s Void, it’s only right that he be given a proper send-off.
The fanart also depicts a gray-haired Old Man Logan as the one behind this samurai-like finisher, so if Marvel only gives audiences this hall of fame movie moment as a throwaway Wolverine variant cameo, we’ll take what we can get.
