Super Eagles striker Toluwalase Arokodare is reportedly attracting interest from the German Bundesliga with the likes of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and VFB Stuttgart ‘monitoring’ the 24-year-old’s situation at Genk ahead of the summer transfer window, Footynaija.com understands.

Arokodare has been sensational for Belgian Pro League side Genk this season. The Nigeria international has notched 21 goals and provided 5 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions so far. He is also the current top scorer of the Belgian top-flight with 19 goals to his name.

Arokodare’s impressive and consistent form this season has put him on the radar of several top clubs across Europe with the general feeling around the player’s camp being that he will most likely secure a big move away from Belgian this summer.

Interestingly, a new report has surfaced suggesting that clubs in the German Bundesliga highly admire the 24-year-old striker. According to Bayern & Germany, Bayern Munich have developed an interest in the Nigerian marksman as they search for a suitable backup for first choice striker Harry Kane.

Alongside Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and VFB Stuttgart have also made enquiries about the Nigeria international as both teams plot to reinforce their attacks ahead of the rigours that await next season.

Premier League side Newcastle United have also been credited with interest in Arokodare with the Magpies thought to be looking to sign the Nigerian striker as a replacement for Callum Wilson, who is widely expected to depart St. James’ Park this summer.

With Arokodare’s potential suitors piling up, it appears that this summer transfer window will be an eventful one for the Nigerian striker as well as his current club Genk. It will be interesting to see where he eventually ends up after all is said and done.
