Timaya and girlfriend Brooke Bailey shut down breakup rumors as they repost a loved-up photo of themselves

Nigerian singer Timaya and his American girlfriend, Brooke Bailey have shut down breakup rumors.

Kemi Filani reported a day back that Brooke Bailey had sparked breakup rumors from the singer, as she unfollowed him on Instagram and deleted all photos of him on her page. Timaya also doesn’t have photos of the reality star on his Instagram page and is not following anyone on Instagram.

Shutting the rumors down, Timaya and Brooke Bailey, via their Instagram stories, reposted a loved-up photo of themselves. It is clear that the lovebirds are still together.

Recall that in December, Timaya had sparked romance rumors with the American reality TV star after they were spotted holding hands while boarding a private jet. The viral video saw the couple walking closely, igniting widespread speculation that they were dating.

To mark the New Year, Brooke had declared love for him as he celebrated his 3rd annual festival hosted in his hometown. She expressed how proud she is of him for bringing boy to his people.

In an Instagram post in January, Brooke had shared loved-up photos of them in a traditional-themed shoot. While Brooke dressed like an Igbo bride, Timaya stuck to his roots by looking regal in a Bayelsa attire, which was both styled by popular Nigerian celebrity stylist Swanky Jerry.

Timaya had also shared a video of them professing their love for each other. The two had stepped out for an outing as Timaya affirmed his love for her, which she also did. The street singer, who was in doubt, stated that Thunder would fire her if she was faking her love for him.

In February, last year, Timaya revealed why he can’t date Nigerian girls. The Dem Mama crooner stated that though he doesn’t have a problem with Nigerian girls, he can’t date them, because they all have the same foundation and upbringing, and as such, the relationship would be toxic. He further went on to compare such relationships as police and thief.
