WATCH THE VIDEO HERE PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos to celebrate Christmas and New Year. The President landed at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at exactly 3:23 pm today, December 18, as confirmed in a statement by Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga. Upon his arrival, President Tinubu was welcomed by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Dr. Femi Hamzat, members of the Lagos State Cabinet, and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos. Before leaving Abuja, the President presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly. During his 30-minute presentation, which concluded at 1:10 pm, he highlighted key sectors with significant allocations in the proposed N47.9 trillion budget, including security and defence (N4.91 trillion), infrastructure (N4.06 trillion), health (N2.4 trillion), and education (N3.5 trillion). The 2025 budget, titled “The Restoration Budget: Security, Peace, Building Prosperity,” reflects the government’s focus on critical areas of development.
