WATCH THE VIDEO HERE PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu on Tuesday commissioned the Nigeria Immigration Service’s Technology Innovation Complex at its headquarters in Abuja. The Data Complex comprises the Command and Control Centre (regular migration), NIS Data Centre, ECOWAS Biometric Card Production Centre, Interior Data Centre and a 0.5KW solar power plant. In her opening address, Nandap said the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Technology Innovation Complex will ascertain the risk level of persons entering the country, detect irregular migration patterns and monitor unmanned borders in hard-to-reach areas nationwide. She said the facilities are “setting the benchmark to use technology to secure our borders and ensure the security of the nation.” Tinubu arrived at about 12:08 pm and was received by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Kemi Nandap.
