Tinubu Govt: ‘Do Not Take Us As The Usual Politicians’ – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has said the administration of President Bola Tinubu will fulfill all promises it made to Nigerians.

Naijaonpoint reports that Wike spoke in the Abaji area council after a chieftaincy title was bestowed on him.

The Minister described Tinubu as the light of Nigeria, stating that the current administration should not be taken as usual politicians.

He said, “This administration of Mr President is the light of Nigeria. Let everybody be assured that Nigeria will get to where we want to get to under the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

“I thank you for the support you are giving to Mr President who indeed, we thank the Almighty God for giving him to Nigeria at this time that is very critical.

“Every promise we have made be assured that we are going to fulfill the promises, don’t take us as the usual politicians, no.

“Ours is to make a promise and fulfil the promise to the people.”

Meanwhile, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, Daniel Bwala, has said the collaborative governance style of the President was instrumental to harmony between the federal government and governors.

Naijaonpoint reports that Bwalahighlighted the Tax Reform Bill, local government autonomy and foreign travels as instances the President collaborated with governors to ensure smooth relationships.

In an interview with Channels TV on Monday, Tinubu’s spokesman stated that the President believed in teamwork rather than a man-squad leadership style.

He disclosed that the delay in sending local government allocations directly to the council chairman was based on the President seeking consultation with governors.
