Tinubu hails Kresta Laurel at 35th anniversary

By Kunle Sanni –

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Kresta Laurel Limited, one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous elevator and escalator companies, on its 35th anniversary.

Founded in Lagos and now operating branches in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo, and Ibadan, Kresta Laurel has become a major player in elevator and escalator technology. The company is also a recipient of the African Order of Merit in Cranes, Escalators, and Elevator Technology.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended the company’s “resilience, effective management, and sound business practices,” which he said have sustained it for more than three decades.

Tinubu recalled that Kresta Laurel provided office space for him and his transition team in 1999, during the period he assembled his technocratic cabinet that steered Lagos State’s affairs at the start of his administration.

The President also expressed appreciation for the company’s continued faith in the Nigerian market, while congratulating Senator Gbenga Daniel, Chairman of Kresta Laurel’s Board of Directors, on the milestone.

He wished the company greater achievements in the years ahead.
