President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday returned to Nigeria from his two-week vacation in Europe.
He arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja yesterday evening, at about 06:50 pm.
The President left the shores of the country two weeks ago, precisely on Thursday, September 4, 2025, for a 10-working day vacation, according to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga.
He was to visit France and the United Kingdom during his short holiday.
Over the weekend, pictures of him with the President of France, Mr Emmanuel Macron, surfaced on the internet.
There were different speculations about his recent vacation to Europe because it was just some days after he returned from trips abroad, especially his visit to Brazil and Japan for official events.
According to reports, the 73-year-old Nigerian leader has made 15 foreign trips since January 2025.
Yesterday, he was brought into the nation’s capital via an Airbus A330 and was received by some members of the government and others.
