Tinubu To Attend Eighth-day Prayer Ceremony In Ogun

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Sunday to attend the eighth-day prayer ceremony for the late Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

Naijaonpoint reports that this was communicated on Friday in a brief statement on X by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

He wrote: “The President will join Governor Dapo Abiodun and other dignitaries at the event, which will be held at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.

“Oba Adetona, who passed away on July 13 at the age of 91, was laid to rest the following day in Ijebu-Ode.”
