The announcement was made during the Senate’s plenary session today. Akpabio stated that President Bola Tinubu has graciously confirmed his attendance at the special session. To finalize arrangements for the event, Akpabio said key Senate members—Senator Opeyemi Bamidele (Senate Leader), Senator Abba Moro (Minority Leader), and Senator Sunday Karimi (Chairman, Senate Services)—will collaborate with their counterparts in the House of Representatives to plan the session’s activities. He added that the Senate has tasked the committee with accelerating preparations and finalizing the session’s agenda in the coming days.
