Tinubu’s achievments win Gombe people – APC chieftain

Mr Abdullahi Jalo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe, says President Bola Tinubu’s achievements are largely responsible for his massive support in the state.

He said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gombe on Monday.

Jalo said the performance of the Tinubu administration was enough to get him votes in the state.

He said Tinubu’s sterling performances in the health and education had shown the calibre of leader that he is.

Jalo noted that the health sector of the state had been revitalised to cater for not just Gombe State but the North East and neighbouring countries through viable intervention programmes of the Tinubu administration.

He said that Tinubu in partnership with ths Gov. Inuwa Yahaya’s administration set up a Federal Medical Centre in Kumo, in Akko LGA, proposed upgrade and transfer of ownership of the Snakebite Treatment and Research Centre, Kaltungo, to enhance training and local production of anti-snake venom.

This, he said would serve states in North East and beyond including neighbouring countries.

“President Tinubu has also approved the establishment of two critical federal institutions including the Federal Orthopaedic Hospital, Billiri, and a Federal College of Education (Special) in Dukku.

“The hospital will serve not only Gombe State but also neighbouring states in the North East, significantly improving healthcare outcomes for trauma and orthopaedic patients.

“When people see development around them, they naturally align with the government delivering it.
“This is why I said he doesn’t need to campaign because we need him to continue these good works for the benefit of the people,” he said.

Jalo, a former deputy national publicity secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said no candidates or opposition parties had the record of achievements to counter Tinubu’s in the state.

He said that the sterling performance of Tinubu and Yahaya would make campaign difficult for opposition parties in the state.

“APC members in Gombe State will find it easy to campaign for Tinubu because his achievements are visible and tangible.”

He urged APC members to remain united and support Yahaya and Tinubu to deliver more for the stare. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
