The Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, led by President Bola Tinubu, has announced the selection of the Top 20 Nigerian content creators who will participate in a specialized training programme on the country’s new tax reform laws.
In a statement released over the weekend, the committee revealed that the selection process involved 8,591 public nominations and covered more than 200 creators from various digital platforms. This move reflects the growing public demand for simplified, accessible information about Nigeria’s ongoing fiscal and tax reforms.
According to the committee, the Top 20 content creators were selected based on the combined size of their followership across major digital platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and 𝕏 (formerly Twitter). The ranking was determined after weeks of public submissions.

The committee explained that the selected creators will undergo a specially designed training session aimed at deepening their understanding of Nigeria’s new tax laws.
The training will equip them to provide clearer, more balanced, and insightful information on the subject to their audiences.
