PlayStation 5 owners will finally have a chance to play one of the year’s best cozy games, Tiny Bookshop. The charming simulation game has been available on Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux for a few months now, and its wider availability is also coinciding with a physical release perfect for cozy game collectors.
Tiny Bookshop will become available on PS5 on April 10, 2025, according to a press release. This new port coincides with a physical release for both the PS5 version and the Nintendo Switch version. Tiny Bookshop is currently only available digitally, but preorders for the physical version are open now, and even come with some extra goodies.
Tiny Bookshop Physical Editions Coming To PS5 & Switch Next Year
Developer Neoludic Games and publisher Skystone Games have partnered with Silver Lining Interactive to create Tiny Bookshop‘s physical PS5 and Switch editions. Preorders are currently listed on Silver Lining Direct for £25.89 (roughly $34.50), but the press release also notes that local retailers may be stocking the Tiny Bookshop physical release.

Tiny Bookshop Returns To Nintendo eShop After Brief Delisting
The press release also announced that Tiny Bookshop has returned to the Nintendo eShop after it was delisted a couple of weeks ago. According to the developer on Reddit, Tiny Bookshop was removed from the Nintendo store because of “an unexpected ratings change.” The requisite process has now concluded, and the game can be purchased for Nintendo Switch once again.
Cozy games abound, but Tiny Bookshop is especially charming, and should have no problem finding a new audience on PS5. Avid readers and fans of the game will likely jump at the opportunity to score an exclusive bookmark from the physical release.
The press release mentions that Tiny Bookshop has sold more than 500,000 copies worldwide, an impressive feat for an indie game that skipped a platform as popular as the PS5. The game is right at home on the portable Switch, though, so its success isn’t really too surprising. PlayStation 5 owners and physical collectors alike will now have something else to look forward to when Tiny Bookshop makes its encore on April 10.
