Nigerian songstress and singer Tiwa Savãge has gifted her son, Jamil, an iPhone.

Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Tunji Balogun’s son, the son of the singer and her ex-husband, is hitting the 10th digit today. To celebrate his birthday, Tiwa surprised him with an iPhone.

On her Instagram page, Tiwa shared a clip of Jamal and his iPhone as she warned him against using social media. She revealed that Jamil has wanted an iPhone since his 9th birthday.

“Gosh, he has been asking for an iPhone since his 9th birthday. No social media though”.

A day ago, Tiwa broke down on social media over visa difficulties. She said she didn’t know if her visa was approved or not, and she had a huge shoot in London, which would cost her many opportunities. The single mother said that, to worsen the situation, all her travel plans for her son’s birthday had also been ruined.

Tiwa had made a public service announcement to those who always ask her for money. The mother of one revealed that she is also struggling with the current economy. To make matters worse, she is a single mother. The award-winning songstress said she hustles all day and night to make ends meet.

Early this year, the Afrobeat singer had shared a video on her Instagram story of her swimming underwater with sharks, as she ticked it off her bucket list. The All Over hitmaker looked quite comfortable under the water as she wore an oxygen mask.

Some of her fans had expressed concern for the mother of one over fear of the sharks attacking her.

Reacting to it, Tiwa noted how people are worried about her swimming with sharks, yet the music industry is filled with more dangerous people.

In another post, she stated that she can never worry when God is the one who watches over her.
