The Game Awards 2025 was a huge night if you’re a fan ofTomb Raider, with not one, but two brand-new games revealed during the big event.

In 2026, we’ll go back to the very beginning with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a remake/retelling of Lara Croft’s 1996 debut. Just one year later, in 2027, a brand-new title called Tomb Raider: Catalyst will release. The latter game is in development at Crystal Dynamics, while the remake is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog. Both titles are being published under Amazon Game Studios.

While Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis doesn’t launch until next year, you can go ahead and claim a free download for the game right now.

The last brand-new Tomb Raider game was way back in 2018, so it’s really rather wonderful to see the franchise return in such a big way. And just in time for Lara’s 30th Birthday, too.

There’s no set release date for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis yet, but the fact you can claim a free wetsuit now would suggest it’s coming sooner rather than later. Watch this space.
