WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Tony Buzbee isn’t backing down from his legal clash with JAY-Z and has filed a lawsuit to has filed to toss Hov’s lawsuit against him while also hitting back with fresh allegations. Buzbee, who announced he is representing more than 100 alleged victims of Sean “Diddy” Combs, amended a lawsuit filed by Jane Doe and added Jay-Z to the lawsuit, alleging that both rappers sexually assaulted her in New York back in 2000. Hov fiercely denied the claims, and the woman later dropped her case against him entirely. This week, Buzbee hit back, claiming that Jay-Z bullied his accuser into dropping her rape lawsuit against him and that the rapper filed his defamation lawsuit in the wrong court and failed to specify a legal basis for it. Buzbee also claimed that he and Jay-Z had an agreement. He stated, “Eventually, the relentless pressure that Mr. Carter and his associates placed upon Doe became too much for her. On February 4, 2025, an agreement to resolve the litigation was reached between Doe and Mr. Carter, through their attorneys, which included the voluntary dismissal of the SDNY (Southern District of New York) Action.”
Jay-Z and his team had allegedly agreed to stop any harassment of Doe if she withdraw her lawsuit, but they violated the agreement by sending investigators to interrogate her. Jay’s attorney, Alex Spiro, dismissed any claims of an agreement as a “total lie.”
