The United States maintains its position as the third most populous nation in the world, with a population of approximately 346 million.

Asia continues to dominate the global population chart with heavyweights such as Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Philippines maintaining their spots among the world’s top 20 most populous countries.

Nigeria has emerged as the most populous country in Africa and the sixth most populous globally, with a population of approximately 235 million people.

Other African countries that made the global top 20 list include Ethiopia, with 133 million residents, Egypt, with 123 million, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with 111 million.
