2025 UEFA Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur have joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Rangers in the race for Flying Eagles attacking talent, Soccernet.ng reports.

AS Trenčín’s Sani Suleiman is now on the radar of several top clubs in Europe after Nigeria were knocked out of the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Chile by Argentina.

Although he didn’t score, his displays have left a plethora of clubs impressed, and he could bag his big move soon, just over a year after he moved to Slovakia from Akwa United.

Rangers, Tottenham, Leverkusen to battle for Sani

Turkish sports journalist, Ekrem Konur, according to Buli News, revealed that the 19-year-old is being watched by Die Werkself.

Sani’s current deal with Trenčín runs until the summer of 2026, but both sides have the option to extend the contract for another two years, as the Slovakian side look to ward off interest while increasing the value of the Flying Eagles winger.

Therefore, it’s clear that Leverkusen would have to pay a transfer fee if they want to lure the talented youngster to the Bay Arena.

As per TeamTalk, Tottenham have made enquiries about a potential transfer, but they face competition, with Rangers among their rival suitors.

According to the report, several major clubs were in attendance to monitor Sani’s performances in Chile, and the Spurs scouts were shocked at how many clubs had interest in the one-time NPFL Rookie of the Year.

Spurs have already made initial enquiries about Suleiman’s contract situation and potential availability for future transfer windows.

However, Suleiman remains focused on his return to AS Trencin and is determined to keep improving and justify the growing attention surrounding his name.

He’s scored two goals and provided one assist in five games for the Slovakian side this season.
