However, they failed to agree on a fee with Southampton, ensuring that he remained in Hampshire. This season has been topsy-turvy for Onuachu, as he struggled to get minutes at Southampton until December. Since coach Ivan Juric replaced Russell Martin at the helm of affairs at the St. Mary’s, Onuachu’s minutes have increased significantly. However, there are still talks that the 30-year-old star could leave Southampton.
