Egyptian football giants Al Ahly are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho during the January transfer window.

Iheanacho is seeking a move away from La Liga side Sevilla, just six months after his free transfer to the club. Unfortunately, the 28-year-old international has faced challenges in making an impact, having recorded no goals or assists in nine league appearances.

Despite this, Iheanacho has garnered interest from various clubs across England, Greece, Turkey, and the USA.

Al Ahly have emerged as a potential destination, presenting an opportunity for the striker to further his career as a possible replacement for South African forward Percy Tau.

Sevilla are open to facilitating a loan deal for Iheanacho, with an option for the loaning club to purchase him at the end of the season.

In another development, Club Brugge are prepared to allow the sale of Raphael Onyedika this month for €20 million. The Belgian Pro League champions declined an offer from Galatasaray for the Nigerian international last summer, but interest has since grown from clubs in England and Spain.

Onyedika has been performing exceptionally well under coach Nicky Hayen this season, and his standout displays in the UEFA Champions League have attracted even more attention.

Having joined Club Brugge from Danish side FC Midtjylland for €9 million three years ago, the enterprising midfielder is poised for a notable next step in his career.
