Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker, Victor James Osimhen, will be joining a club in the English Premier League after his loan spell in the Turkish Super Lig, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 26-year-old left Napoli on a season-long loan to join Okan Buruk’s side after he attempted to force a move way from Antiono Conte’s side.

Osimhen’s stint in Galatasaray has yielded positive results as he’s scored 35 goals and provided eight assists in 39 games for the Cim Bom Aslan. He’s currently the most-sought after striker in European football.

Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with Osimhen, but the former VfL Wolfsburg attacker is keen on a move to the English Premier League.

As per reports from journalist Simon Phillips, the 2023 CAF Player of the Year remains adamant about joining Chelsea. This is regardless of the club’s qualification for Champions League next year. Osimhen’s salary demands have been the central focus for the interested parties, but sources reveal that his wages are not as bogus as reported.

“Chelsea are ‘still there’ for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The player has always been keen to join Chelsea regardless of Champions League football, and he is still keen now,” Phillips said in quotes revealed by Chelsea Online.

“The deal was worked on hard last summer, and the belief from our insiders is that his wage demands would not be as astronomical as the media are portraying. Chelsea can easily go back into the deal and our sources believe that it wouldn’t even be that difficult to come to an agreement,” Philipps concluded.
