Record Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich have submitted an offer for Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 27-year-old has made it clear he wants to exit Bergamo, with Inter Milan being his sole interest. The Nerazzuri have submitted three offers, all of which Atalanta declined.

In turn, Lookman decided to stop training with La Dea, taking it a step further by making himself absent from the team’s preseason fixtures.

Lookman has been left out to train alone, but all hope is not lost, and the former RB Leipzig man can still get a move this summer.

Soccernet.ng previously reported that Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the transfer situation of the CAF Player of the Year.

As per David Ornstein, Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign the Atalanta outcast. Vincent Kompany’s side have submitted a loan offer including a sizeable fee with the option to buy at a significant price.

The former Everton man is currently exploring all the options on his tab before the transfer window slams shut in the next 48 hours.

However, there might be a slight problem in Bayern’s pursuit of the one-time UEFA Europa League winners.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta are maintaining their stance about not letting Lookman leave on a loan deal, they want him off their books permanently.

Galatasaray are also monitoring Lookman’s transfer situation as they look to boost their attack ahead of an adventurous season.
