United States President, Donald Trump, is reportedly considering granting a full pardon to music executive, Sean “Diddy” Combs, ahead of his sentencing scheduled for October 3, 2025.

According to Vanguard, this move is reportedly being reviewed within Trump’s inner circle, though no official decision has been made.

Naijaonpoint reports that Combs was found guilty by a federal jury in New York on charges related to transporting individuals for prostitution.

He was not convicted of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges he also faced.

Prosecutors are pushing for a sentence that could place him behind bars for two to three years.

His legal team is expected to file an appeal soon after sentencing.

Several individuals close to Combs have reportedly reached out to the White House in support of a pardon.

However, his legal representatives have not publicly taken part in this effort, and the White House has not confirmed the existence of any official pardon request.

Trump previously stated he would be open to reviewing the facts of Combs’ case, especially if he thinks there was unfair treatment.

Though once allies in social circles, Combs became a vocal critic of Trump during his presidency and supported Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

Meanwhile, Combs’ request for release on a $50 million bond has been repeatedly denied.

Talks about his temporary release before sentencing have been ongoing, with a final proposal expected around the end of July.
