The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has directed the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) to immediately resolve the challenges applicants are facing in determining their status in the ongoing paramilitary recruitment.
The Minister noted on Friday that several applicants are unable to determine their status and ordered the Secretary of the Board to ensure that all uploads are completed immediately.
Naijaonpoint reports the directive follows complaints from several applicants in the ongoing recruitment exercise over their inability to determine or check the status of their application due to glitches with the recruitment portal.
Taking to his 𝕏 account, Tunji-Ojo acknowledged the challenges caused by the ongoing data upload and assured that a resolution is on the way.
He stated: “Following recent complaints from applicants into the paramilitary agencies who are still unable to determine their fate due to the ongoing upload of information, I have directed the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board to ensure that all uploads are completed immediately.”
The CDCFIB had earlier notified applicants to start checking their status on the recruitment portal as from Friday. However, many users reported experiencing glitches on the recruitment portal, which led to the urgent directive from the Minister.
