WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man who is awaiting trial for the 1996 killing of later rapper Tupac Shakur, has been found guilty of battery by a prisoner and challenges to fight after being involved in a jailhouse fight last year. Keefe D and another inmate engaged in “mutual combat by grappling and throwing closed fist strikes” before Keefe D put his opponent in a headlock. Eventually, correctional officers were able to separate the men using pepper spray. Keefe D was initially supposed to stand trial last month, but it has since been postponed to 2026. The former Sean “Diddy” Combs associate has boasted several times in the past that he was in the car with Shakur’s shooter, but since his arrest, he denies his previous claims, even stating that he can prove he was not in town the night of the shooting. In a recent interview with ABC News, he doubled down on his claims of innocence. “They don’t have nothing. And they know they don’t have nothing. They can’t even place me out here. They don’t have no gun, no car, no Keefe D, no nothing,” he told the news outlet. “I ain’t killed nobody. Never did, never killed nobody.”
