However, one of the deceased staff members died at the Asokoro Hospital, while the other succumbed to injuries at the National Hospital. Representatives from WE Construction confirmed the incident on Thursday, stating that two of their workers had died and more than 20 others sustained varying degrees of injuries. One of them said, “We lost two workers, and twenty others sustained injuries. As I speak to you now, I have been receiving calls about two individuals I have not yet seen. They are not necessarily missing, but their families have informed me that they are injured. However, some of the injured have been taken to hospitals that may be out of my reach, making it difficult to track them.” The representative added that he had been working tirelessly across Abuja since the incident to coordinate with hospitals and families of the affected staff. “I have been working across almost the entire city of Abuja since the incident occurred,” he said.
