Samuel Chukwueze’s time at AC Milan may soon be drawing to a close, with the Nigerian winger at the centre of a brewing transfer battle involving two Turkish and one English clubs.

Turkish giants Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe, both clubs coached by two former Manchester United managers, are the latest clubs to be interested in Samuel Chukwueze, according to HaberHergun.

Meanwhile, Premier League side Fulham have opened talks with Chukwueze’s representatives in an effort to add the Nigerian winger to the roster at Craven Cottage

José Mourinho, currently in charge at Fenerbahçe, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, head coach of Beşiktaş, are both keen to bolster their squads ahead of the new Süper Lig season. Both clubs have shown serious interest in the 26-year-old winger, who appears surplus to requirements at San Siro.

According the reports, Chukwueze’s agent has already landed in Istanbul for talks with Beşiktaş, though early reports suggest that the club’s initial offer falls short of Milan’s valuation. Fenerbahçe, on the other hand, are reportedly preparing a loan offer with an option to buy.

Fenerbahçe have been busy in the market, bringing in names like Jhon Duran, Milan Skriniar and Nelson Semedo. Beşiktaş have responded in kind, securing Tammy Abraham and Orkun Kökçü. But Chukwueze is seen as a potential game-changer, especially with his close friend Victor Osimhen now at Galatasaray.

In England, Fulham have reignited interest in Chukwueze following an earlier failed attempt in January.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that talks between the Premier League club and AC Milan have resumed, though no agreement has been reached on fee or personal terms.

Signed from Villarreal in 2023 for €21.1m, Chukwueze has struggled to cement a starting role at Milan. Last season, he managed just 918 Serie A minutes across 26 appearances, only nine of them starts, scoring three goals and providing two assists.

Despite a promising pre-season, which included a goal in Milan’s 9–0 drubbing of Perth Glory, the club is believed to be ready to part ways with the winger as they seek to reshape their squad following a disappointing domestic campaign and the failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Chukwueze still has three years remaining on his Milan contract. A move to Craven Cottage could offer a fresh platform to rediscover his best form in the Premier League, alongside compatriots Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey.
