Sources confirmed the news to TMZ, who revealed that they have been friends for a while, but things only turned romantic between them last month. Speaking to the outlet, sources say the happy couple are “telling people who know them that the relationship is new and they’re enjoying each other’s company and their time together.” After attending Vanity Fair, the new couple were spotted arm in arm, leaving the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. Tyga previously dated rocker Avril Lavigne, but the pair parted ways in 2023. Avril appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast where she avoided answering questions about her relationship with Tyga. “I think the most important thing is finding someone that you’re compatible with, because you could be two different great people. But if you’re not compatible, you’re not going to get along,” the singer said, hinting about the issues which led to their split. “It all just sounds cliche. Someone that is trustworthy, because if you don’t have that, you’re just never going to feel grounded in the relationship, and you’re going to be spinning.
