He died from multi-organ failure on Wednesday at Mulago National Hospital. Health officials revealed that in the days preceding his death, the nurse visited multiple health facilities and consulted a traditional healer, which delayed diagnosis and may have exposed others to the deadly virus. The outbreak is attributed to the Sudan Ebola Virus Disease (SUDV), a highly infectious and lethal strain of the Ebola virus. The Ministry of Health has urged the public to remain vigilant and adhere to preventive measures to curb the spread of the disease. Authorities are now conducting contact tracing and surveillance to prevent further transmissions.
