NaijaOnPoint Nigeria reports that the United Kingdom has officially opened applications for the prestigious 2025/2026 Chevening Scholarship, offering fully funded one-year Master’s degrees at any UK university to exceptional individuals from around the world, including Nigeria.

According to the British High Commission, the application portal opened on August 5 and will remain open until October 7, 2025. Successful applicants will receive comprehensive financial support, covering tuition, travel, living costs, and additional grants for essential expenditures.

About the Chevening Scholarship

Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the Chevening Scholarship is designed to develop future global leaders. Since its inception in 1983, the programme has supported over 60,000 professionals worldwide, including hundreds of Nigerians across sectors such as governance, law, media, technology, and development.
