Nigerian filmmaker Stanley Ontop has called out the wives of Nigerian Senators over their silence on actress Regina Daniels’ marital issues.
The filmmaker, via his Instagram story, questioned whether the women aren’t aware of what is happening to their secretary, who was appointed in 2023. Stanley questioned whether Nigeria was actually working, as he noted that it could be their turn tomorrow.
“Senator’s wives association, how far na? Una never hear wetin dey happen to una Secretary?
Mrs Akpabio, what’s up?
Is Nigeria actually a working country?
It might be you tomorrow, speak out now!”.
While giving an update on Sammy’s situation earlier this week, Stanley said he wished he were in Abuja, he would have mounted outside the court and made noise. He slammed Ned Nwoko for using task players’ money to fight his constituent.
Mary Njoku had written a note to Regina, saying that seeing her cry for help on social media had broken her heart. Mary noted how she and thousands of Nigerians watched her grow into the woman she was today, and she is appalled by the comments online.
Anita Joseph had slammed Ned Nwoko for bullying Regina Daniels’ family, questioning whether he left room for reconciliation. Calling for the release of Sammy, she stated that marriage isn’t by force, and the actress is allowed to leave.
FFK’s ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu, questioned where the Actors Guild and those whom Regina has helped were. She noted how Daniels is too young for this experience, and questioned Ned for torturing a person whom one promised to love and protect. She described Ned’s action as narcissīstic and vicious.
Singer, Jaywon, had called out Regina Daniels’ inner circle. He said the things she has been posting online reflect a lack of maturity and self-awareness. He expressed how unfortunate it is that the people around her are more focused on their own interests than on guiding her with honesty.
Charly Boy questioned why they were bringing their private matter to social media, forming themselves into either a a victim or a saint. The legendary singer admonished them to try and sort things out privately, as there was no point in washing one’s dirty business on social media.
Mercy Aigbe, noted how Regina, is young, talented, and still learning. Aigbe noted that we all go through seasons, some gentle and some stormy, but we can overcome. She told her to keep her head high, keep growing, and never lose her beautiful spirit.
Mercy Johnson had called for the release of Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, stating that the worst form of injustice was pretended justice.
Ruth Kadiri, in an Instagram post, noted that Regina celebrated and supported everyone as much as she could. Ruth stated that Regina will forever be celebrated.
Yvonne Jegede said if domestic violence is violence, she should leave. The actress admonished her not to allow bitter and jobless internet trolls to bully her, as there is no excuse for domestic violence.
Singer, Portable, prayed that God blesses her home forever as he encouraged her to stay loyal. The singer let her know that only a loyal wife enjoys life more.
