Qualifications and Requirements

Academic Staff:
- Graduate Assistants must possess at least a Second-Class Upper Division in a relevant field.
- Assistant Lecturers require a Master’s degree.
- Lecturer II and above generally require a Ph.D. or equivalent qualification, alongside postdoctoral teaching/research experience.
- Professors and Readers must have proven scholarly publications, teaching experience, and the ability to provide academic leadership.
Non-Teaching Staff:
- Positions range from SSCE/O’Level holders to those with OND, HND, Bachelor’s degrees, Master’s degrees, or professional certifications, depending on the role.
- NYSC discharge/exemption certificate and computer literacy are mandatory for most positions.

Conditions of Service

Appointments are typically made on probation for two years, after which they may be confirmed based on satisfactory performance. All posts are pensionable, and candidates are expected to demonstrate ICT proficiency.
